Job description

Federated Cooperatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Trailer Mechanic on a permanent basis on our Supply Chain team.

This position requires onsite work and is based at our regional office in Regina SK .

What youll do :

• Perform mechanical services on retail delivery units and semitrailer units such as checking and rebuilding of pumps and meters mounting PTOs test and repair piping and fittings as required.
• Inspect adjust repair or replace parts and components and diagnose commercial trucktrailer systems including chassis frame cab body air brakes suspension and electrical systems.
• Complete tests and inspections required by provincial and Transport Canada regulations on cargo tanks commercial trailers and associated equipment.
• Install and transfer tanks on retail delivery units.
• Install and troubleshoot truck mounted fuel management equipment.
• Perform aluminum cutting welding and fitting on aluminum tanks and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Who you are :

You are looking for a career in Supply Chain and :

• Have a high school diploma (or equivalent).
• Carry a valid Class 5 Drivers License; Class 3A Drivers License is considered an asset.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of related experience (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
• Have a mechanical aptitude and excellent communication skills.
