Walinga Inc. is seeking a Trailer Equipment Technician/Mechanic at the Wallenstein location. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is an asset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and air systems.
• Test and optimize systems to meet Walinga standards.
• Advise supervisors on work performed and trailer conditions; recommend future repairs.
• Participate in specialized training for Walinga Transportation equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace adhering to safety standards.
• Perform other duties across departments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and air systems using tools and specialized equipment
• Test and optimize systems to meet Walinga standards.
• Advise supervisors on work performed and general trailer conditions and recommend future repairs that may be required.
• Participate and specialized training for Walinga Transportation and pneumatic conveying equipment
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace that adheres to safety standards.
• Perform other duties across departments as needed based on your skill set.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Mechanical repair, hydraulics, pneumatics, and 12-volt electrical systems (preferred).
• Welding experience and familiarity with welding tools/equipment is an asset
