At Peel CAS, our mission is to protect children and strengthen families & communities through partnership. We are currently seeking two (2) Summer Youth/Students to join our team at the Trailblazers Youth Centre.

About the Trailblazers Youth Centre:

Our centre offers opportunities for youth to become active community members, fostering safety and belonging while providing engaging experiences that help participants thrive, build connections, and develop leadership skills.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in post-secondary education and planning to return to school, OR
  • Between 18 to 25 years old and not enrolled in school or training programs.

Experience with youth and lived experience with a Child Welfare organization are assets.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with youth is preferred.
  • Flexible hours including weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
  • First Aid and CPR certification is an asset.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse communities.
  • Strong organizational, planning, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with virtual platforms is an asset.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
  • Proficiency in French is an asset.
  • Updated vulnerable sector police check required.

You will be paid $17.50 per hour, based on a 35-hour work week, working from the Peel CAS office in Mississauga.
