Alliance Search Partners is seeking a Traffic Signal Design Engineer / Project Coordinator to support electrical engineers in designing traffic signalization and street lighting for municipal projects in Ontario. The role involves CAD drafting, drawing preparation, and coordination with project stakeholders.

The candidate should have a college program in Civil or Electrical Engineering Technology with CAD training and must possess Traffic Signal experience.

Qualifications

• Graduates with civil or electrical engineering tech diploma and CAD training.
• Traffic signal experience is mandatory.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and MicroStation.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Support junior and senior engineers in a team environment.
• Prepare CAD drawings and supporting calculations.
• Design traffic signals and street lighting for municipal/provincial projects.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Generate drawings in various formats for approvals and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders and maintain records.
• Attend design and project coordination meetings.
• Work occasional evenings or weekends to meet deadlines.
