Job summary

Brandt is a Canada-based logistics company seeking a qualified Logistics Coordinator to manage daily traffic bookings, negotiate with carriers, and track transportation for parts and attachments.

The role requires 3–5 years of transportation experience, ERP/TMS proficiency, and strong communication and organizational skills. You will collaborate with manufacturing to prevent delays and ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of transportation experience.
• Post-secondary education in Business Administration or equivalent.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Experience with a TMS is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong organizational skills and deadlines.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Team player.
• MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for day-to-day traffic booking activities.
• Negotiate effectively with carriers to obtain best value.
• Manage the load quoting, coordinating, and tracking of transportation and logistics function for parts, wholegoods and attachments.
• Produce purchase orders from requests/requisitions/analysis of shipping schedules to ensure timely pickup and delivery activities. Coordinate with manufacturing to eliminate demurrage and delays.
• Maintain and monitor carrier performance.
• Resolve Accounts Payable issues as applied to carrier invoices and provide invoice G/L coding when needed.
• Other duties as assigned

What You Will Be Responsible For

What We Look For

• 3 to 5 years of relevant transportation experience.
• Post-Secondary education in Business Administration or similar discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in ERP systems.
• Experience with a TMS (Transport Management System) is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Must be a team player
• Knowledge of MS Office software, esp. Excel, Word, PowerPoint
