Job summary

Universal Group is hiring a Traffic Control Person (TCP) in Richmond, BC to ensure safe traffic flow in work zones. You will set up traffic control zones, adjust equipment, and respond to emergencies, supporting smooth operations and incident-free sites.

You will maintain BC TCP certification, follow WorkSafeBC regulations, and communicate clearly with dispatch and site teams. The role is outdoors across the Lower Mainland, with weekdays, some weekends, and a strong emphasis on safety and

Responsibilities

• Traffic Control Setup: set up zones and adjust work zone equipment.
• Safety and Compliance: protect workers and the public and maintain compliance.
• Reporting and Communication: report health and safety matters to dispatch or safety advisor.
• Safety Gear and Equipment: wear required PPE per WorkSafeBC.
• Certification and Training: maintain BC TCP certification current.
