The City of Maple Ridge seeks a Trades Supervisor - Electromechanical to lead electrical and mechanical maintenance teams, assign tasks, and supervise contractors. You will ensure work meets City standards, safety procedures and regulatory requirements, while coordinating schedules and monitoring progress.
You will provide technical guidance, oversee invoices and change orders, and respond to public service issues and emergency calls.

The Trades Supervisor - Electromechanical plans, assigns, supervises, reviews, and participates as required in the work of skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled staff engaged in technical servicing, repair, maintenance, construction, and related electrical and mechanical work.
The position exercises considerable independence of judgement and action within established departmental policies, standards, and procedures. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with applicable legislation, standards, specifications, operating permits, and City requirements.
Difficult technical issues, policy matters, and financial considerations are referred to a superior, who reviews work performance based on results achieved and technical accuracy.
Completion of Grade 12 supplemented by technical courses related to the work and completion of a recognized electrical trade apprenticeship, plus considerable related experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
