A major Financial Institution is seeking an Associate for their Trade Support team in Ontario, Canada, on a 12-month contract. Responsibilities

• Provide support to the trade desk on T+0.
• Process trades and resolve issues.
• Liaise with counterparties and handle internal confirmations.
• Liaise with counterparties and internal teams on confirmations, settlements, PnL and collateral.

Job description

Our client, a major Financial Institution, is looking to add an Associate to their Trade Support team. This role isa 12 month contract to cover a maternity leave and has the potential to go fulltime. In this role the successful candidate will provide timely support to the trade desk on T+0. This includes processing trades, following up on and resolving issues, providing information and reports to traders, and liaising with counterparties and internal confirmations, settlements, PnL and collateral.

To be considered for this role, our client is looking for someone with the following skills/qualifications;

• 3+ years experience in capital markets operations supporting traders
• Strong knowledge of derivative products and their trading lifecycles including swaps and total return swaps
• Strong organization and problem solving skills
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.

**This role is hybrid with 1-2 days a week in the office
