Job summary

A global IT services provider is looking for a Post Trade Support Analyst to assist trading teams and design IT solutions. Candidates should have a degree in Market Finance or IT, at least 5 years of application support experience, and knowledge of capital markets and regulatory environments. This full-time position is based in Canada, with responsibilities ranging from assistance to System improvements.

Responsibilities

Provide assistance and support to trading teams at Level 3.

Skills Needed

Degree in Market Finance, or in IT with strong knowledge of capital markets and Fixed Income products.
At least 5 years of experience (including application support experience).
Knowledge of Capital Markets Rate activities: Pricing (interest rate curve models) and Risk.
Knowledge of the rate activity booking workflow (Clearing, Negotiation, Trade events, Markit wire workflow).
Knowledge of the Capital Market Regulatory environment.
Knowledge of a similar FO booking system is a plus (Orchestrate, Summit, Murex, Sophis, Calypso).

Responsibilities

Provide assistance and support to trading teams the Level 3 support.
Review and validate the solution's suitability for the business need expressed by the Business as Business Analyst.
Design the IT solution in collaboration with the business and other IT teams.
Write functional documentation for the solution (specifications, story maps, etc.).
Design and write test plans and ensure the smooth industrial execution of functional validations. Coordinate user testing.
Support swap traders in NY for USD and Cross-currencies desks.
Implementation of new pricing curves.
Automation and industrialization of investigation tasks.
Contribute to improving the performance of the application scope and developing it further.
Be proactive in suggesting improvements and contribute to innovation in the field.
