Job summary

Future Electronics is seeking a Trade Compliance Analyst base in Montreal, QC, to support U.S. Foreign-Trade Zone (FTZ) and North American customs compliance. You will work with the MADC and Global Trade Compliance Team to manage daily FTZ activities and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include preparing FTZ admissions, monitoring inventory, and coordinating with brokers and internal teams. The role emphasizes process improvements, training, and precise documentation.

Qualifications

• DEC or Bachelor's degree education preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in customs compliance, FTZ, international trade, or a related field.
• Knowledge of U.S. and Canadian customs regulations and tariff schedules.
• Experience with FTZ operations and customs documentation.
• Familiarity with CBP 7501 and CBSA B3 entries.
• Strong Excel, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with process improvement and/or training is an asset.

• Maintain accurate FTZ records and supporting documentation.
• Develop and maintain FTZ SOPs and training materials and provide training to employees.
• Monitor proposed and current customs regulations and assess their impact on the business.
• Identify opportunities to improve trade compliance processes and controls.

The Trade Compliance Analyst will support the company’s U.S. Foreign-Trade Zone (FTZ) and North American customs compliance activities. Based in Montreal, QC, this role will work closely with the Memphis Area Distribution Center (MADC) and the Global Trade Compliance Team.

The position is responsible for managing daily FTZ activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, reviewing customs documentation, and supporting process improvements and reporting requirements.
