Qualifications

• Operate a commercial motor vehicle between pick-up and destination terminals in compliance with company and DOT regulations.
• Maintain accurate logs and records and detect and minimize safety hazards.
• Load/unload freight or assist with loading/unloading as required by the customer.

Location: Brampton, Ontario (Please Note: There will be a training period at another location in Milton for an indefinite period)

Summary

The Commercial Driver position operates a commercial motor vehicle driving between pick-up and destination terminals. Ensures that trips are run safety, efficiently and in compliance with company and DOT regulations.

Essential Functions

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines

• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs

• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer

• Performs other duties as assigned.
