Proven experience managing and leading owner-operator customers/vendors is required for this role.
The Manager Logistics is responsible to manage all activities associated with the efficient operation of accounts. This includes P&L responsibility, ensuring customer satisfaction, compliance, employee relations and safety.
Design, implement, and maintain operational dashboards to track key business metrics, providing visibility into performance trends, safety, claims, on time performance, equipment utilization, and service levels.
Manage carrier settlement processes, ensuring accurate and timely payment reconciliation, dispute resolution, rate validation, and adherence to contractual agreements.
Establish, monitor, and analyze KPIs related to carrier performance, service quality, on-time delivery, utilization, safety, while developing action plans to improve results.
Support carrier sourcing, carrier contracting, and ensure carrier drivers meet hiring standards to ensure adequate capacity and service coverage.
Oversee HOS compliance, accident reviews and complete carrier audits
Oversee truck onboarding process, including licensing, insurance, including utilization tracking, compliance requirements, and operational readiness.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, carriers, and vendor partners, serving as the primary liaison to address operational issues, performance expectations, and business opportunities.
Identify opportunities to optimize processes, reduce costs, improve carrier satisfaction, and enhance the overall performance and scalability of the Owner Operator program.
