Purpose of the position:
No railroad experience is required! In this position, you will maintain the track and surrounding areas using moderate physical labor and technology (automated machinery). We use technology as much as possible to eliminate physical stress on the body. Duties include replacing and repairing track components such as rails, railway ties, fences, and adjusting the alignment and surface of the track, as well as responding to emergencies and track outages.
