Tow Truck Driver - Service Vehicle Operator

Position Overview

AMA leads the towing industry in compensation, providing a competitive base salary and an achievable performance incentive program with earning potential up to $28.50 / hour. We also offer comprehensive training, employer-paid benefits, safety apparel, and industry-leading safety standards.

Becoming an AMA Service Vehicle Operator is a great entry into the dynamic towing industry, with no prior experience required. Training on standard tow truck operation will be provided.

Work Schedule & Location

Work rotational 8-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays, between 6:00 am and 12:00 am. Opportunities for overtime are available. Location: Calgary Service Centre.

Responsibilities
  • Report to the Fleet Supervisor.
  • Respond to service requests across the city, providing assistance or towing.
  • Maintain vehicles, tools, and communication equipment.
  • Promote AMA memberships and provide information to members.
  • Stay current with communication and operational procedures.
  • Use PPE consistently and follow safety procedures.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Valid Class 5 or GDL driver’s license with fewer than six demerit points.
  • Pass a Police Information Check for Automotive Lock Bypass licensing.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
