Job description

NOV is urgently hiring a Truck Driver for a temporary period of up to 6 weeks, responsible for loading, transporting, and unloading materials safely and efficiently.

This is a temporary role that may last up to 3 months.

Note: This position is classified as safety sensitive, and employment is contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment testing.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver parts between NOV locations and to/from vendors.
• Verify truck loads to ensure compliance with shipping requirements.
• Assist in loading, unloading, and moving products and materials.
• Perform operational, maintenance, and safety checks on trucks and trailers.
• Collect documents for goods received and delivered.
• Maintain general housekeeping of the vehicle.
• Follow all NOV policies, guidelines, procedures, and HSE standards.
• Adhere to all Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license with fewer than 5 demerits.
• Provide a three-year driving history, including all accidents, violations, or suspensions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Be suspension-free for the past two years.

HSE Requirements

• Work environment includes shop, warehouse, office, indoors and outdoors.
• Physical activities include squatting, bending, lifting, reaching, and walking.
• This role is safety sensitive.
