Position Overview As a Tour Guide / Bus Driver, you’ll be responsible for safely transporting groups of 13–28 passengers from Toronto to Niagara Falls and back. Along the way, you’ll provide engaging commentary about the area’s history and points of interest. Daily Start & End
Pick up a company vehicle in North York (near Dufferin & Finch) at 6:30 AM, return around 6:30 PM
Potential opening for an evening shift, if preferred, from around 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM
Route
Drive to downtown Toronto for guest pick-ups
Drive to Niagara Falls while providing commentary on a headset
Head to additional Niagara destinations as scheduled
Free time for lunch and rest
Return to Toronto for drop-offs
Key Responsibilities
Safe Driving: Operate the bus in compliance with the Highway Traffic Act and complete daily vehicle inspections
Guest Interaction: Provide friendly, informative commentary about Toronto, Niagara Falls, and surrounding regions, and answer questions and ensure passengers are comfortable throughout the tour
Route & Logistics Management: Coordinate pickups and communicate with passengers via text/call as needed, adapt to any changes or unexpected delays on the route
Vehicle Maintenance: Basic bus cleaning (e.g., sweeping floors, cleaning windows) at the end of each day
Collaboration: Work closely with other staff to maintain a smooth, enjoyable tour experience
Qualifications & Requirements
Niagara Parks Tour Guide License (Preferred; training available)
Valid C (or higher) Commercial Driver’s License in Ontario (Required)
3+ Years of Commercial Bus Driving Experience in Canada, with the ability to provide letters of experience from a previous bus driving insurance policy (Required)
Clean Driver’s Abstract (Required)
Fluent, Clear Spoken English, + other languages an asset
Previous Tour Guide / Bus Operator Experience (Preferred, Not Required)
Professional References: At least one from a prior employer
