EY’s multidisciplinary Business Tax Incentives (BTI) team, part of our Business Tax Services practice, specializes in credits and grants related to discretionary incentives, sustainability, capital investments, and scientific research and experimental development (SRED). We are a dynamic group of tax, audit, and science and technology professionals working with companies of all sizes across various industries to maximize their tax benefits and achieve their business objectives. We are seeking an experienced Manager with a software development or IT background to deliver advisory services to our clients in Ontario.
As a Business Tax Incentives IT Manager, you will lead a team while working with a diverse range of clients, from entrepreneurs to public corporations, to evaluate and prepare their SRED claims. Your thorough understanding of web technologies and software architectures will enable you to lead and develop a team of engineers and data scientists, providing value to clients. You will meet with CTOs, Chief Architects, and Software Developers to assess client eligibility for funding, establish claim amounts, and write technical project descriptions detailing innovation and development activities. This includes discussing prototypes, innovative software architectures, algorithms, and frameworks. This role is ideal for someone with a Computer Science degree and relevant work experience who wishes to expand their career into the business and financial aspects of technology.
