Golderado Contracting Corporation is seeking skilled Topman/Topwoman to join our field crews on sewer and water projects across Canada. The role involves elevation shots, grade reading, accurate pipe placement, and daily coordination with forepersons and crew members.

You will read drawings, interpret specifications, and monitor trenches and pumps. Competence in grading, surveying, and fusion joining support is valued; a valid license and reliable transport are required.

Formación

• Must have at least 2 years of working experience as a Topman/Topwoman for sewer and water projects or equivalent.
• Strong ability to read grade.
• Understanding surveying.
• Must be able to do elevation shots.
• Must read and understand drawings.
• CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015, Ground disturbance 201, fall protection required.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• A driver’s abstract is required and must be obtained no more than 30 days prior to employment start date.
• A reliable means of transportation is required.
• Proficient English language skills required.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct elevations shots, reading grade, and ensuring pipe is being properly placed in the ground.
• Communicating with the Foreperson, Operators, and Crew members.
• Providing continuous inspections of pipes for cracks or deficiencies.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specification, and reporting.
• Use and knowledge of various levels.
• Oversee the water and pumps within the trenches.
• Knowledge of fusion joining is considered an asset.

Key Information:

• Hours: Various shifts, project dependent, 12-hour days
• Must be willing to working evenings and weekends (Various shift rotations)
• Hourly rate is dependent on experience.
