Atlas Aéronautik, a Quebec manufacturer with over 70 years in aeronautics, is seeking a Toolmaker to strengthen the engineering and methods team. You will design and manufacture tooling for new products, ensure reliability, and support startups in production.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture the tooling required for new products and improvements
• Adjust, modify, and ensure the reliability of existing tooling
• Finalize detailed tooling designs in collaboration with Engineering
• Ensure the functional, dimensional, and safety compliance of tooling
• Support new product startups in production
• Diagnose and correct tooling issues during production
• Propose technical improvements to existing tooling
• Ensure the maintenance and reliability of fixtures and jigs

To support this growth and optimize our manufacturing operations, Atlas Aéronautik is looking for a toolmaker.

As a member of the engineering and methods team, the successful candidate will play a key role in the advanced design and continuous improvement of tooling.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Manufacture the tooling required for new products and improvements


• Adjust, modify, and ensure the reliability of existing tooling


• Finalize detailed tooling designs in collaboration with Engineering


• Ensure the functional, dimensional, and safety compliance of tooling


• Support new product startups in production


• Diagnose and correct tooling issues during production


• Propose technical improvements to existing tooling


• Ensure the maintenance and reliability of fixtures and jigs

Training and Experience

Working Conditions

• Salary between $38.64 and $40.77


• 3 weeks of paid vacation upon hiring, in addition to the holiday season.
