Job summary

Caledon Tubing, a division of Martinrea International, is seeking a Tooling Setup Operator to join the St. Marys team. You will be at the heart of manufacturing operations, analyzing processes, solving technical challenges, and driving improvements in quality, efficiency, and performance.

The role requires a Diploma in a manufacturing discipline and 3–5 years of automotive manufacturing experience. Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Tool & Die, or a related manufacturing/machining discipline.
• 3-5 years of manufacturing experience (automotive preferred).
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily shop floor support along with troubleshooting manufacturing issues.
• Conduct process studies and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform technical setup duties to support other associates and enhance machine performance.
• Provide ongoing communications with production operators, engineering, quality and management.
• Assist in improving manufacturing processes.
