Job summary

Caledon Tubing, a division of Martinrea International, is seeking a Tooling Setup Operator in St. Marys to support manufacturing operations.

You will analyze processes, troubleshoot issues, and drive improvements in quality, efficiency, and performance. Ideal candidates have a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology or related field, 3–5 years of automotive manufacturing experience, and knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, or Tool & Die, or related.
• Experience: 3–5 years in manufacturing (automotive preferred).
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily shop floor support and troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
• Conduct process studies and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform technical setup duties to support other associates and enhance machine performance.
• Provide ongoing communications with production operators, engineering, quality and management.
• Assist in improving manufacturing processes.

About The Role

We're looking for a Tooling Setup Operator to join our team in St. Marys. In this role, you'll be at the heart of our manufacturing operations-analyzing processes, solving technical challenges, and driving improvements in quality, efficiency, and performance.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
