Job summary

North American Stamping Group (NASG) is hiring a General Labourer to join the Tool Room team. Hours rotate between days and afternoons. The wage starts at $25.45 per hour following a probationary period, with a full benefits package offered.

The NASG group is a leading Tier II automotive stamping and assembly supplier with a broad manufacturing footprint across North America. Growth opportunities and a safety-focused culture are emphasized in this role.

Qualifications

• Basic to intermediate computer skills; Shop Edge experience is an asset.
• Good communication skills in English (read, write, understand).
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist toolmakers as needed.
• Move products to proper locations and store safely.
• Wash dies.
• Follow visual audit inspection on parts.
• Perform daily forklift inspection.
• Suggest ideas for continuous improvement.
• Follow Health and Safety regulations and maintain 5S.
• May be required to make deliveries or pickups.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Overtime is required.

Come grow with us ... NASG Tech Center is hiring. We are looking for a General Labourer to join our Tool Room team! Hours of work are based on a rotating schedule of days and afternoons. The wage for position is $25.45, following successful completion of probationary period.

The position duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Assist toolmakers as needed
• Ensure product is moved to proper locations and stacked/stored safely
• Wash dies
• Follow visual audit inspection on parts
• Assist in performing daily inspection of forklift
• Suggest ideas for continuous improvement
• Follow all Health and Safety regulations and maintain 5S
• May be required to make deliveries, and or routine pickups
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Ability to work overtime is required

Qualifications we are looking for include, but are not limited to:

• Basic to intermediate computer skills, Shop Edge experience is an asset
• Strong organizational skills

• Good communication skills (read, write, and understand in English)
• Proven ability to follow directions and work well as part of a team
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Able to lift up to 25lbs, stand and walk on a continuous basis

Ideal candidate will possess:

• Valid drivers licence
