Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on tools.
• Forecast and maintain inventory of parts for repair.
• Use manuals and vendors to diagnose problems and restore equipment.
• Inspect, clean, and prepare tools for rental to customers.
• Ensure tools are repaired and available for rental on time while controlling costs.
• Process tool rental transactions and generate contracts and invoices.
• Train Tool Rental Sales Associates on turning, operation, and minor repair of tools.
• Help customers by providing information and answering questions.
• Ensure rental equipment is properly displayed, signed, and maintained.
• Troubleshoot and maintain all equipment.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of products in department.
• Operate cash register and follow related procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of tool maintenance, parts ordering, and usage.
• Analyze information to identify problems and propose solutions.
• Provide outstanding customer service.
