Job summary

Silent-Aire Limited Partnership is expanding its manufacturing teams in the Edmonton region. The role, based at our Nisku facility, requires reliable transportation and offers Monday-Thursday night shifts or rotating days (6 AM–6 PM) including weekends.

You will compile stock records, manage BOM accuracy, and ensure proper parts, tools, and gases are stocked. Proactive inventory control and adherence to safety standards are essential.

Qualifications

  • Supply Chain/Logistics/Inventory systems experience is an asset.
  • Well-developed computer literacy, especially Excel and Sage Accounting software.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry is an asset.
  • Able to communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Able to work efficiently as part of a team and independently.
  • Attention to detail in all areas of work.
  • Dependable with good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Compiles and maintains records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment or supplies stocked.
  • Count material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and enter data.
  • Ensure orders have a Sage number and are on the BOM.
  • Check BOM for needed parts for rush orders and new projects.
  • Ensure stocked items are on the BOM.
  • Enter paint orders and ensure gases for welding are stocked.
  • Maintain stock of gases (diesel, propane) and perform stock checks.
  • Check in/out tools and materials using the tracking program.
  • Make requisitions of parts, tools, and materials and record receipts.
  • Receive deliveries, verify quantities, restock shelves.
  • Perform 5S and housekeeping; repair and maintain tools.

Overview

Silent-Aire Limited Partnership is a wholly owned subsidiary of Johnson Controls. Silent-Aire is a technology driven company that designs, engineers and manufactures hyperscale cooling and modular data center solutions.


This role is located at our facility in Nisku and you must have a reliable transportation to commute.

This role will be offered to work Monday to Thursday Nightshift (6 PM - 5:30 AM) or rotating days (6AM to 6PM, including weekends).

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Compiles and maintains records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment or supplies stocked.

  • Count material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and enters all needed materials into the requisition log.

  • Ensures all orders made have a Sage number and is on the BOM.

  • Checks the BOM for all needed parts for rush orders as well as new projects.

  • Ensures all stock ordered is on the BOM.

  • Enters all paint orders.

  • Ensures all gases for welding are appropriately stocked.

  • Maintains stock of gases for example diesel and propane.

  • Check in and out tools and materials using Giga Trak tool tracking program.

  • Make requisition of parts, tools, and materials, maintain all records of received parts and materials.

  • Receives incoming deliveries of parts and materials from the receiving department, making sure quantity is correct and restocks the shelves.

  • Perform 5`S and housekeeping.

  • Repair tools and keep them well maintained.

  • Keep track of all tools sent out for repair and maintenance.

  • Perform all duties in accordance with Silent-Aire Limited Partnership safety program standards and Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations and Code.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Working Conditions

  • Work is performed in a combination of office and industrial environments.

  • This position may be exposed to elements such as noise, dust, odors, as commonly found in a manufacturing setting.
