Job summary

SRG is seeking an experienced Tool Crib Attendant to support industrial construction activities at a major Northern Alberta oilsands facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for issuing, tracking, organizing, inspecting, and controlling tools, equipment, and consumables used by field crews.

The role includes a 14/7 rotation with 12-hour day shifts, camp accommodations, and flights from Calgary and Edmonton.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and inventory-control skills including basic Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and work effectively with multiple field crews in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to safely lift and handle tools, equipment, and materials.
• Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test, including cannabis.

Responsibilities

• Issue and receive tools, equipment, and consumables to field personnel.
• Maintain accurate records of tool and equipment assignments and track outstanding, damaged, lost, or overdue items.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure tool crib and storage area.
• Complete routine tool inspections and identify damaged or unsafe equipment.
• Coordinate repair, replacement, and calibration of applicable tools and equipment.
• Monitor inventory levels and advise supervision when replenishment is required.
• Receive deliveries and verify quantities against packing slips and purchase documentation.
• Assist with material and consumable inventory counts and support field supervision with tool and equipment requirements.
• Follow all SRG and client safety, housekeeping, and site procedures

• Previous tool crib, warehouse, materials, or industrial construction experience preferred.
• Oilsands, SAGD, mining, maintenance, turnaround, or heavy industrial experience is an asset.
• Strong organizational and inventory-control skills with basic Microsoft Excel and Outlook experience.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and work effectively with multiple field crews in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to safely lift and handle tools, equipment, and materials.
• Valid driver's licence preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test, including cannabis
