Job summary

Tourism Tofino in Tofino, BC is seeking a Visitor Centre Associate to engage visitors, provide information, and convert inquiries into bookings for activities, tours, and services.

Role requires weekend availability, starting August-September 2026, and 30–37.5 hours per week. On-site work at our downtown location with training provided and opportunities to participate in local events.

Qualifications

• Minimum of grade 10.
• Visitor Sales and Services Training provided.
• Product knowledge training provided on commencement.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes visitors to the Visitor Centre and provides complete information.
• Assists with accommodations, tours, ferry reservations and related services.
• Maintains knowledge of local activities, events, and services.
• Handles merchandise sales and daily cash reports.
• Posts visitor updates and assists with events and festivals.
• Supports inventory and participates in weekly beach cleanups.
