As a Team Leader, you will lead a high-performance team to offer our clients the cost containment solutions necessary to minimize overall claims exposure.

What does your typical day look like?

1. Maximize savings to grow revenue;
2. Implement and deliver cost containment strategies proven to be effective;
3. Ensure that active cases are effectively managed to help reduce the overall claims experience and that we use cost-based objective criteria to negotiate the best possible settlement;
4. Ensure financial targets are met or surpassed, while participating in strategic planning to further develop our cost containment strategies;
5. Identify ongoing process improvements with the aim of cutting costs and improving efficiency;
6. Ensure performance standards are met and take corrective action if needed;
7. Ensure the team delivers business results in all aspects of ownership, emphasizing efforts aligned with corporate direction.

What skills and training do you need?

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a business emphasis, and 5 years of leadership or related experience;
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and knowledge of SharePoint;
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting;
• Knowledge of GEM processes is an asset;
• Experience in people management.
