Job summary

The Goodyear Napanee facility is hiring for a tire testing and quality-focused technician. You will perform tire/wheel tests, document results, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

The role involves coordinating with Quality Leaders and Production teams to maintain high product quality. Preferred candidates will have a technical degree, tire manufacturing knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and strong communication with attention to detail.

Qualifications

University or College degree; technical preferred.
Experience in tire manufacturing or plant processes.
Strong troubleshooting and continuous improvement mindset.
Excellent communication and high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with all plant safety policies and quality requirements.
Document test results for tire and wheel tests; report results.
Perform tire mounting, labeling, and measurements; manage sample submissions.
Conduct X-Ray ratings and development tire testing; report feedback.
Interface with Quality Leader, supervisors and technicians to improve process performance.
Mentor Production Technicians on internal processes and product specs.
