Job summary

Fountain Tire Rocky Mountain House is seeking a responsible Tire Technician who can inspect, install, balance, rotate and repair a range of tires, while delivering excellent customer service. The role involves customer interaction, problem solving, and maintaining a safe work environment.

The ideal candidate may have prior tire experience but training is provided. Must hold a valid driver’s license and be willing to be on call after hours; lifting up to 100 pounds may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience with tires is a plus, but training is available.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to provide a satisfactory driver’s Abstract.
• Ability to lift 100 pounds if required.
• Must be willing to be on call after hours.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, install, balance, rotate, and/or repair passenger vehicle, truck, farm, industrial and/or OTR tires.
• Greet and communicate with customers on repair, service and tire sales aspects.
• Provide professional and friendly customer service to impress customers.
• Maintain safety of yourself and coworkers on the job.

What kind of person are we looking for?

• Previous commercial or OTR tire experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to provide a satisfactory passenger or commercial Driver’s Abstract
• This work can unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy etc. and we need someone who will be up for the challenge
• We need someone who can be on call after hours
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds if required
