Job summary

Kal Tire in Ottawa is seeking a Tire Technician to install, rotate, balance, and repair tires in a busy shop. This temporary role offers both full-time and part-time hours and a starting hourly wage of CAD 21.06, with hands-on training and a team that values safety.

You will work with a support-oriented crew to keep operations running smoothly, learn tire service equipment, and help ensure customers' vehicles stay safe on the road. Shifts may include weekends and variable start times.

Qualifications

• Previous tire technician or automotive experience or training is preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs repeatedly and stay active throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Team-oriented with a practical, safety-first approach
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

As a Tire Technician, you’ll support the day-to-day service work in the shop, installing, repairing, and maintaining tires while helping keep operations running smoothly. This is a temporary position with full-time and part-time hours available for the duration of the contract.

Store Details

• This role is open to all Kal Tire stores in Ottawa.
• Hours of Operation:
  • Monday - Friday: 07:30 to 18:00
  • Saturday, Sunday: 08:00 to 17:00
• Multiple Training Dates Starting: OCTOBER 6TH, 2026

Shifts will be scheduled within store operating hours and may include weekends.
