Job summary

Kal Tire in Ontario is hiring a Tire Technician to support daily shop service, installing, repairing, and maintaining tires. This is a temporary, full-time or part-time role for the contract duration.

You will work with a safety-minded team, participate in hands-on training, and gain experience in the automotive industry. The store network offers varied hours and a structured onboarding process.

Qualifications

• Previous tire technician or automotive experience or training is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs repeatedly and stay active through shift.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Team-oriented with a practical, safety-first approach.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

As a Tire Technician, you’ll support the day-to-day service work in the shop, installing, repairing, and maintaining tires while helping keep operations running smoothly. This is a temporary position with full-time and part-time hours available for the duration of the contract.

Hours of Operation

• • Monday to Friday: 7:30 - 18:00
  • Saturday: 8:00 - 17:00
  • Sunday: Closed

Multiple Training Dates Starting: September 14, 2026

Shifts will be scheduled within store operating hours and may include weekends.
