Job summary

Kal Tire in Squamish, BC is seeking a Tire Technician to support daily shop operations by installing, balancing, repairing, and maintaining tires. You will operate tire service equipment safely, inspect vehicles, and keep work areas clean and organized as part of a team that values quality and reliability.

This temporary role offers both full-time and part-time hours, on-site training, and opportunities to gain hands-on experience in the automotive industry.

Qualifications

• Previous tire technician or automotive experience or training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs repeatedly and stay active.
• Team-oriented with safety-first approach.

As a Tire Technician, you’ll support the day-to-day service work in the shop, installing, repairing, and maintaining tires while helping keep operations running smoothly. This is a temporary position with full-time and part-time hours available for the duration of the contract.

You’ll be part of a team that works safely, supports each other, and takes pride in getting the job done right.

Requirements

• Previous tire technician or automotive experience or training is preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs repeatedly and stay active throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Team-oriented with a practical, safety-first approach
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Store Details

• Location: 38925 PRODUCTION WAY UNIT 1, SQUAMISH BC
• Hours of Operation:
  • Monday - Friday: 7:30 to 18:00
  • Saturday: 8:00 to 17:00
• Multiple Training Dates Starting: September 7th, 2026

Shifts will be scheduled within store operating hours and may include weekends.
