Job summary

Kal Tire in Edmonton is seeking a Tire Technician to support daily shop service work, installing, repairing and maintaining tires. The position is temporary with both full-time and part-time hours for the contract duration.

You'll be part of a safety‑minded, team‑oriented store that values collaboration and hands‑on training while gaining experience in the automotive industry. Weekend shifts may be included.

Qualifications

• Experience or training as tire technician or automotive technician preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Able to lift 30–50 lbs repeatedly and stay active throughout the shift.
• Team-oriented with a practical, safety-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Install, remove, rotate, balance, and repair tires.
• Safely operate tire service equipment and tools.
• Inspect tires and vehicles to identify required services.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and use PPE at all times.
• Support the team to keep workflow efficient and on schedule.
