Job summary

Kal Tire is seeking a Tire Technician to support day-to-day shop service tasks, installing, repairing, and maintaining tires. This temporary role offers full-time or part-time hours across multiple GTA store locations.

You will work as part of a safety-conscious team, keeping operations running smoothly and efficiently. The position requires tire/auto experience or training, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs while staying active.

Qualifications

  • Previous tire technician or automotive experience or training preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to lift 30–50 lbs repeatedly and stay active throughout the shift.
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability.
  • Team-oriented with a practical, safety-first approach.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Install, remove, rotate, balance, and repair tires.
  • Safely operate tire service equipment and tools.
  • Inspect tires and vehicles to identify required services.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all safety procedures and use PPE at all times.
  • Support the team to keep workflow efficient and on schedule.
