Job summary

Kal Tire in Dartmouth, NS is hiring a Tire Technician to support day-to-day shop work, installing, repairing, and maintaining tires. This is a temporary position with full-time and part-time hours available for the contract duration.

You will work with a safety-focused team to keep operations running smoothly. Responsibilities include tire installation, removal, rotation, balancing, and repair, operating service equipment safely, and maintaining a clean work area while following PPE guidelines.

Qualifications

• Previous tire technician or automotive experience or training is preferred.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to lift 30-50 lbs repeatedly and stay active.
• Team-oriented with a safety-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Install, remove, rotate, balance, and repair tires.
• Safely operate tire service equipment and tools.
• Inspect tires and vehicles to identify required services.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and use PPE at all times.
• Support the team to keep workflow efficient and on schedule.
