Job summary

Kal Tire Nanaimo is seeking a Tire Technician to join a safety‑minded, team‑oriented shop. You will install, remove, rotate, balance, and repair tires, inspect vehicles, and support day‑to‑day tire service operations.

This temporary role offers both full‑time and part‑time hours with hands‑on training, in a fast‑paced environment at 2800 NORWELL DR, NANAIMO BC, and opportunities to gain automotive experience while contributing to a professional team.

Qualifications

• Previous tire technician or automotive experience or training.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs repeatedly and stay active during shift.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Team-oriented with a practical, safety-first approach.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

As a Tire Technician, you’ll support the day-to-day service work in the shop, installing, repairing, and maintaining tires while helping keep operations running smoothly. This is a temporary position with full-time and part-time hours available for the duration of the contract.

You’ll be part of a team that works safely, supports each other, and takes pride in getting the job done right.

Store Details

• Location: 2800 NORWELL DR, NANAIMO BC
• Hours of Operation:
  • Monday - Friday: 7:30 to 18:00
  • Saturday: 8:00 to 17:00
• Multiple Training Dates Starting: September 14th, 2026

Shifts will be scheduled within store operating hours and may include weekends.
