Job summary

Kal Tire in Nanaimo, BC is seeking a Tire Technician to join our shop team. You will install, remove, rotate, balance and repair tires, while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will operate tire service equipment, inspect tires and vehicles, keep a clean and safe workspace, and support the team to keep workflow on schedule. Previous tire or automotive experience is preferred and a valid driver’s license is required.

• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs repeatedly.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Team-oriented with a practical, safety-first approach.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

As a Tire Technician, you’ll support the day-to-day service work in the shop, installing, repairing, and maintaining tires while helping keep operations running smoothly. This is a temporary position with full-time and part-time hours available for the duration of the contract.

You’ll be part of a team that works safely, supports each other, and takes pride in getting the job done right.

Store Details

• Location: 2800 NORWELL DR, NANAIMO BC
• Hours of Operation:
  • Monday - Friday: 7:30 to 18:00
  • Saturday: 8:00 to 17:00
• Multiple Training Dates Starting: September 14th, 2026

Shifts will be scheduled within store operating hours and may include weekends.
