Job summary

Kal Tire in Peterborough, ON is seeking a Tire Technician to install, balance, rotate, and repair tires across a variety of vehicles while upholding safety standards.

You will inspect tires for wear, operate service equipment safely, maintain a clean work area, and communicate clearly with customers and teammates.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to solve problems on the spot.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Comfortable working in a physical environment and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Prioritize safety, including wearing required PPE and following all safety procedures.
• Automotive or tire-related experience considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire installation, balancing, rotation, and repairs on various vehicles.
• Inspect tires and wheels for damage or wear and recommend appropriate service.
