Job summary

Kal Tire in Nakusp, BC is seeking a Tire Technician to join our hands-on shop team. You will install, remove, rotate, balance, and repair tires, while keeping safety and quality at the forefront.

This temporary, full- and part-time role offers practical training, a supportive atmosphere, and opportunities to gain experience in automotive service. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Experience as tire technician or automotive technician preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs repeatedly and stay active throughout the shift.
• Team-oriented with a safety-first approach.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

As a Tire Technician, you’ll support the day-to-day service work in the shop, installing, repairing, and maintaining tires while helping keep operations running smoothly. This is a temporary position with full-time and part-time hours available for the duration of the contract.

You’ll be part of a team that works safely, supports each other, and takes pride in getting the job done right.

Store Details

• Location: 95 6 AVE NW, NAKUSP BC
• Hours of Operation:
  • Monday - Saturday: 7:30 to 17:00
• Multiple Training Dates Starting: September 21st, 2026

Shifts will be scheduled within store operating hours and may include weekends.
