Job summary

Emterra Tire Recycling Ltd., a Brampton-based facility, is seeking a Production Manager responsible for safe, efficient, and cost-effective 24/7 operation. You will lead production Supervisors and plant staff, drive throughput, ensure safety compliance, and collaborate with maintenance to minimize downtime.

The role requires a relevant degree or diploma in operations/engineering and experience leading 24/7 production in manufacturing or recycling, with PLC controls as an asset.

Qualifications

• College diploma or university degree in operations/industrial disciplines.
• Equivalent manufacturing or recycling industry experience may be considered.
• Experience leading 24/7 production in manufacturing or recycling.
• Experience with PLC programming/controls is an asset.
• Strong focus on safety, productivity, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to Production Supervisors and production staff.
• Ensure staffing to cover 24/7 operations and meet targets.
• Train and develop shift Supervisors, Operators, and Production Employees.
• Monitor throughput, downtime, labour use, and product quality daily for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with Maintenance and Operations Directors to prioritize repairs and maintenance.
• Investigate production issues and machine-related delays.
