Forbes GM is seeking a Tire and Lube Technician to join our team of customer-focused professionals within our high-volume dealership. The role involves servicing vehicles, including preventative and routine maintenance, such as oil changes, tire care, and fluid checks.

Formación

• Minimum High School Diploma.

Responsabilidades

• Perform oil and filter changes.
• Checking that tires are inflated correctly.
• Replenishing vehicle fluids, lubricates joints/fittings as needed.
• Checking cabin and air filters.
• Inspecting tires, performing tire repairs, installing new tires, balancing and rotating.
• Maintain tidiness of the shop.

Forbes GM is currently seeking a Tire and Lube Technician to join our team of customer focused professionals within our high volume and process-driven dealership.

Purpose/Summary of Position:

The Tire and Lube Technician is responsible to service vehicles, including providing preventative and routine maintenance.

Key Accountabilities:

• Perform oil and filter changes
• Checking that tires are inflated correctly
• Replenishing vehicle fluids, lubricates joints/fittings as needed
• Checking cabin and air filters
• Responsible for inspecting tires on client vehicles, making tire repairs, installing new tires when necessary, balancing and rotating tires.
• Maintaining tidiness of the shop

Other responsibilities include:

• Attention to detail with excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• WHIMIS standards to ensure chemicals/equipment is being handled in a safe manor & ensure you are compliant in using them.
• Willingness to comply with all company policies and uphold standards for service quality.

Candidates must possess:
