Timber-Tech Building Solutions in Balzac, AB, is seeking shop framers. No experience required. The role reports to the Production Manager and runs 7:00AM-3:30PM, Monday-Friday. Wage will be based upon experience and the location is a Balzac facility with on-site work.

In this role you will use hand and power tools to frame, read basic drawings, and follow safety procedures. Compensation is experience-based with growth opportunities within a supportive team.

Formación

• Experience as a carpenter or framer is preferred.

• Good math skills for measurements.

No experience required! We are looking to hire Wall and Floor Framers to work in our facility based in Balzac, AB. The position will report directly to the Production Manager.

Hours of work: 7:00AM-3:30PM Monday-Friday

Wage: Will be based upon experience

Location: 291231 Westland Dr, Rocky View, AB

Key Responsibilities:

• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete framing tasks.
• Select appropriate materials, ensuring quality and compliance with building codes.
• Assemble and install floors according to design specifications.
• Assist with the installation of sheathing, insulation, and other building materials as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project goals and deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a carpenter or framer, preferably in a prefabrication or construction environment.

• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and framing techniques.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with precision in a fast-paced environment to achieve accurate cuts and assemblies.

• Effective communication skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and handle heavy materials as required.
• Must have reliable transportation to the work site. Public transportation is not available.
• Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations related to framing tasks.
• Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
• Compensation will be determined based on the candidate's level of framing experience.
