Job summary

First Onsite Property Restoration is seeking a Tile Installer/Carpenter (Carpenter I) to join our team in Winnipeg, Canada. You will learn from experienced tradespeople while supporting a variety of restoration and rebuild projects, taking pride in delivering quality work that helps families & businesses recover after events.

You will work with senior carpenters on framing, drywall, flooring, and finishing, while staying safety-conscious and ready to learn every day.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of construction, carpentry, or restoration experience.
• Tile installation experience required.
• Valid full class driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior carpenters on framing, drywall, painting, flooring, and finishing.
• Prepare and clean job sites; handle materials and tools safely.
• Install and repair work meeting company quality and safety standards.
• Assist with drywall patching or trim work, and with demolition or repairs.
• Stay organized, communicate with supervisor, and keep safety front of mind.
• Learn and grow through hands-on restoration projects.
