Job summary

ServiceMaster Restore of Winnipeg is seeking a skilled Construction/Carpenter to join our rebuild team. You’ll perform finishing work from drywall and trim to doors and windows, leading small crews or working independently on diverse interior and exterior projects.

Qualifications

  • Strong finishing and carpentry skills.
  • Ability to plan and execute jobs with minimal supervision.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Successful completion of a criminal record check upon hire.
  • Client-focused attitude and professional communication.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotation—emergencies can happen any time of day.

Responsibilities

  • Perform finishing work including drywall, painting, trim, and cabinet repairs.
  • Apply stipple and texturing as part of finishing work.
  • Replace kickboards, gables, and other structural elements.
  • Install doors, windows, and other fixtures.
  • Complete exterior repairs including siding, roofing, stucco, soffits, fascia, decks, and fences.
  • Lead small teams or work independently to complete rebuild projects.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to support emergency remediation work.

What You’ll Do
