Job summary

Modine is seeking a Journeyman/Apprentice Welder for the afternoon shift (3:00 PM–11:30 PM, Monday to Friday) to perform GTAW welding on light gauge steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.

Certified Journeyman Welder with experience in GTAW, FCAW and GMAW, able to read drawings and perform preventative maintenance on welding equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Overtime on weekdays or weekends may be required; candidate must lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Certified Journeyman Welder.
• Experience with GTAW, FCAW and GMAW.
• Ability to read drawings.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance on welding equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Open to overtime on weekdays and/or weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience using shears and press brakes is a plus.
