Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a Journeyman Welder to join our team for morning and afternoon shifts. You will perform high-quality GTAW (TIG) welding on light gauge steel, aluminum, and stainless steel, while applying FCAW and GMAW as needed.

You will read blueprints, maintain weld quality, and support a safe, efficient production environment. Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and be willing to work overtime as required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with GTAW (TIG), FCAW, and GMAW welding processes.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings.
• Experience with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to work overtime (weekdays/weekends) as required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience operating shears and press brakes is considered an asset.
• Safety Requirement - Respirator Use: tasks may require use of a respirator.
• Compliance with health and safety standards is mandatory.

Position Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Welder to join our team on the morning and afternoon shift. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality GTAW (TIG) welding on light gauge materials, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.

Afternoon Shift: 3:00PM - 11:30PM - Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Perform GTAW (TIG) welding on light gauge steel, aluminum, and stainless steel
• Utilize FCAW and GMAW processes as required
