The University of Alberta's Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences invites applications from current FPPS employees for a Tier 2 Canada Research Chair (CRC). This internal opportunity seeks an emerging researcher to build an internationally recognized research program and contribute across CIHR pillars in health research.

We welcome candidates pursuing excellence in Drug Discovery/Development and Health Services Research.

Qualifications

• Current FPPS employees at the University of Alberta considered for internal CRC Tier 2 opportunities.

The Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (FPPS) invites applications from current FPPS employees who hold a tenured or tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor rank for a Tier 2 Canada Research Chair (CRC).

This internal opportunity reflects the Faculty's commitment to advancing research excellence by supporting an exceptional emerging researcher in developing an internationally recognized program of research. Through the Canada Research Chairs Program, the Faculty seeks to strengthen its research capacity, foster innovation, and build on its existing strengths across the spectrum of health research.
This Faculty welcomes applications from researchers working in all four Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) pillars of health research (Biomedical Research; Clinical Research; Health Services Research; and/or Social, Cultural, Environmental and Population Health Research). Particular interest exists in research aligned with the Faculty’s strategic strengths in Drug Discovery and Development and Health Services Research; however, outstanding applicants from all areas of health research will be considered.
