Job summary

West Edmonton Mall’s Galaxyland is hiring part-time Ride Operators to safely operate rides while delivering outstanding guest service. You will assist guests on and off rides, maintain orderly ride areas, and perform daily safety checks with prompt reporting of any issues.

The ideal candidate is at least 15 years old, safety minded, able to work in a loud environment, and possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills. Previous amusement park or customer service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years of age.
• Must be safety minded and be able to work in a loud environment.
• Previous amusement park or customer service experience is considered an asset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to react calmly and proactively in stressful situations and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Operating rides in a safe and alert manner.
• Helping guests in and out of rides and answering inquiries.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of ride areas.
• Performing daily inspections and reporting safety discrepancies.
• Providing guests with excellent customer service and knowledge of mall policies.
• Following health, safety, and emergency procedures at all times.
