Job summary

Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited is hiring a Third Cook on a part-time, six-month contract to join a fast-paced kitchen. You will prepare and present food while maintaining safety and cleanliness standards and help with inventory and ordering tasks.

Minimum requirements include a secondary school diploma or one year of related experience, safe food handling and knife skills, and the ability to obtain the required gaming registration.

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma or one year related work experience.
• Safe food handling course and knife handling skills.
• Ability to obtain registration as Category 2 Gaming Assistant with AGCO.

Responsibilities

• Proper preparation and presentation of food with strict adherence to food safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary and organized work space in compliance with applicable Health & Safety regulations.
• Assist with inventory and placing orders.
• Perform all duties in a safe and responsible manner.
• Adhere to departmental quality standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
