Job summary

The position requires a secondary school diploma or related experience, safe knife handling, and the ability to work in hot, cold, and humid conditions. Training and development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma or a minimum of one-year related work experience.
• Safe food handling course, knife handling skills.
• The ability to obtain registration as a Category 2 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming and Commission of Ontario.
• Proven high level of Customer Service.
• The ability to work and excel in a fast-paced large volume business.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in hot, cold and humid environments.

Responsibilities

• Proper preparation and presentation of food with strict adherence to food safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary and organized work space in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the requirements of the Board of Health.
• Assist with inventory and putting orders away.
• Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
• Adhere to departmental quality standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned
